Liying manages more than 80 colonies in Rhode Island and southeast Massachusetts. With a Master’s Degree in nutrition and food science, Liying deeply understands the importance of good nutrition for healthy bees. She kept all her beehives either in organic farms or on conservation lands to ensure the bees to have the best quality food. She is also the biggest local honey producer in RI. Her prestigious honey quality was recognized by the Whole Foods store and became the only RI local honey provider on Whole Foods shelves since 2021.

As one of the mentors at Rhode Island Beekeepers Association, Liying is enthusiastic about her bees, enjoying sharing her knowledge with the general public and the beekeeping community. She has been invited to give lectures and presentations at many local beekeepers association. This Sunday (October 6) at 8:00pm EST, she will share with us the fantastic aspects of honey bees and beekeeping in the U.S.

Liying Peng, MS, is an experienced, recognized beekeeper and queen breeder in the Southern New England region. She has been featured in various local papers and professional bee magazines, such as American Bee Journal. As the largest RI local queens and honeybee provider, Liying focus on raising genetically superior and disease resistant breeds that suitable for southern new England weather.

關於THAA_Boston

1976年，波士頓清華校友會(THAA_Boston)成立。自成立以來，校友會一直致力於服務在波士頓地區學習、工作和生活的清華校友（包括北京清華大學和新竹國立清華大學）。林家翹、李詩穎等著名華人科學家都先後擔任過校友會會長。2010年，波士頓清華校友會年在美國馬薩諸塞州正式註冊為非盈利，非宗教，非政治組織。2011年，波士頓清華校友會得到美國聯邦政府批准，被認定為符合501(c)(3)免稅條款的公共慈善機構(Public Charity)。波士頓地區現有約2000名清華校友，分佈在學術，教育，生物，製藥，電子，資訊，金融服務，建築設計，法律服務等多個行業。
