東西海岸的基礎教育的差異和對比

Ms. Yang Liu serves as the Director of Tsinghua Education Foundation (N.A.) Inc. (“TEFNA”). Founded in 1997, TEFNA is a nonprofit, nonstock corporation registered in Delaware, U.S.A. It operates as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (EIN: 52-2073001) and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. For the past 27 years, TEFNA has been dedicated to advancing its mission of promoting intellectual exchange and educational cooperation, by supporting students attending overseas programs and conferences, facilitating school collaboration programs in the United States, and providing student scholarships, financial aid, and departmental development funds at Tsinghua University.
Jun Chen is currently teaching Mandarin at a public school in Massachusetts. She has worked at schools on both the East and West Coasts of the U.S., including experience with students of all ages and in various programs, e.g. IB, Immersion, world languages, and heritage programs. Her dedication to educational excellence is coupled with active conference presentations and participation in local events. Graduated from Fudan University and holding two master's degrees, Jun is committed to integrating the strengths of Eastern and Western educational approaches She is also dedicated to promoting cross-cultural communication and understanding. Jun is the mother of a college freshman at JHU and a 10th grader.
陳雋目前在馬薩諸塞州的一所公立學校教授中文。她曾在美國東西海岸的多所學校任教，積累了豐富的教學經驗，涵蓋各個年齡段的學生以及多種課程專案，例如IB課程、沉浸式教學、世界語言課程和傳承語言專案。她追求教育卓越，不僅積極參加會議發表演講，還熱心參與本地活動。作為復旦大學的畢業生，她擁有兩個碩士學位，致力於融合中西方教育優勢，並積極推動跨文化交流與理解。陳雋還是兩位孩子的母親——一個是約翰霍普金斯大學的大一新生，另一個是10年級的高中生。
Huijin Yan is an accomplished educator with over 16 years of teaching experience, including 12+ years as a Mandarin teacher and 4 years as an English teacher. She holds a Master’s degree in TESOL from American University, where she was honored with the prestigious Hall of Nations Award. Huijin earned her Bachelor’s degree in English from Beijing International Studies University and began her career teaching English to secondary students in Beijing.
During her graduate studies in the U.S., Huijin expanded her teaching expertise by teaching Mandarin at the college level and English to adult ESL learners. These diverse experiences laid a strong foundation for her career in language education.
Huijin has taught Mandarin at independent schools both in the east coast and west coast. She is currently teaching in an independent school in the Bay Area.
With a passion for fostering cross-cultural understanding and linguistic proficiency, Huijin has built a reputation as a dedicated and highly effective language educator.
Ms. Baoying Qiu is a career-long educator who has taught Mandarin Chinese in both public and private schools and colleges for over 16 years. As a first-generation immigrant, she moved from Guangdong to the USA with her family when she was 14 years old. Ms. Qiu has received her education from the Boston Public Schools and the University of Massachusetts Amherst, which are recognized as some of the top public education institutions in the United States. Ms. Qiu is currently working at an all girls independent school in the Great Boston area. Throughout her career, Ms. Qiu held multiple roles, including teacher, mentor, student advisor, affinity group leader, trip leader, curriculum developer, and program director. Ms. Qiu is a mother of two children in local public schools, a 6th grader and 4th grader. She is an elected School Committee board member at the town where her family resides. Ms. Qiu is a passionate educator of Chinese language and culture.

關於THAA_Boston
1976年，波士頓清華校友會(THAA_Boston)成立。自成立以來，校友會一直致力於服務在波士頓地區學習、工作和生活的清華校友（包括北京清華大學和新竹國立清華大學）。林家翹、李詩穎等著名華人科學家都先後擔任過校友會會長。2010年，波士頓清華校友會年在美國馬薩諸塞州正式註冊為非盈利，非宗教，非政治組織。2011年，波士頓清華校友會得到美國聯邦政府批准，被認定為符合501(c)(3)免稅條款的公共慈善機構(Public Charity)。波士頓地區現有約2000名清華校友， 分佈在學術，教育，生物，製藥，電子，資訊，金融服務，建築設計，法律服務等多個行業。
波士頓清華校友會的宗旨是：聯誼與互助，職業成長與發展，回饋母校與社會。
