畢業時收到學校送的鑽戒，是種什麼樣的體驗？
又是一年畢業季到來，北京科技大學的新材料技術研究院碳基材料與功能薄膜研究室2024屆的每一位畢業生都收到了一份特別的畢業禮物——鑽石戒指。
As graduation season arrives, each member of the Class of 2024 from the Carbon-Based Materials and Functional Films Laboratory at the Institute for Advanced Materials and Technology (IAMT), University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB), was presented with a unique graduation gift—a diamond ring.
白金戒圈上鑲有兩顆鑽石，黑鑽0.5克拉，白鑽0.5克拉。這些鑽石是由研究室團隊自主研發的，背後是李成明團隊30年如一日的科研攻關。
多年來，團隊一直瞄準金剛石領域發展前沿，率先在國內拓展金剛石多晶和單晶電子學的研究，使金剛石膜熱學應用達到國際領先水平，推動了人工培育金剛石自支撐膜的工業化應用。
The laboratory's primary research focuses on diamond and related materials, as well as the corresponding technologies. Their groundbreaking research on the thermal applications of diamond film has reached a global advanced level, further advancing the industrial utilization of the chemical vapor deposition(CVD) free-standing diamond films.
這些金剛石自支撐膜，廣泛應用於“北斗”衛星系列、“長征七號”系列等尖端宇宙探索之中。
CVD free-standing diamond films have found extensive applications in cutting-edge scientific projects such as the Beidou Navigation Satellite System and the Long March-7 carrier rocket.
這已經是李成明團隊連續第6年為畢業生送出“鑽石”禮物。訊息一齣，網友們紛紛為科研團隊點贊：“實名羨慕！”“畢業25年的老校友也想要！”“祝畢業生人生如鑽石般璀璨！”
團隊首席教授李成明說：“希望每位畢業生都能像鑽石一樣，承受住未來的壓力，一直堅強剛毅、璀璨奪目！”
"I envision each graduate to be like a diamond, resilient to pressures, steadfast, and radiantly brilliant," said Professor Li Chengming, the team leader.
