This is a great position for someone looking to pursue a doctorate in
psychology who is passionate about working with children and interested in exposure to
acute psychiatric care.

Responsibilities include administering admission and discharge assessments to children
ages 7-12, administering additional assessments as needed, managing a large database
and IRB paperwork, and supporting clinical research projects. There are opportunities for
data analysis, manuscript and poster preparation, and conference presentations. Patients
have a broad range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety,
PTSD/trauma, ADHD, and the PA also assists on the therapeutic milieu. Research topics
include childhood adversity, parenting, sleep health, and equity and access to acute
mental health care.

Qualifications for this position include and undergraduate BA or BS psychology (or related)
degree, interest in pursuing graduate education in psychology, proficient with Microsoft
Excel and Word, ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team, be detailoriented, and communicate efficiently. Knowledge of SPSS and REDCAP is preferred.
