節制
2 Timothy 1:7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
提摩太後書1:7 因為上帝賜我們，不是膽怯的心，乃是剛強、仁愛、謹守的心。
Titus 1:8b one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined.
提多書1：8下 好善，莊重，公平，聖潔自持。
1 Corinthians 9:25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.
哥林多前書9:25 凡較力爭勝的，諸事都有節制，他們不過是要得能壞的冠冕；我們卻是要得不能壞的冠冕。
1 Corinthians 10:13b And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
哥林多前書10:13下 上帝是信實的，必不叫你們受試探過於所能受的；在受試探的時候，總要給你們開一條出路，叫你們能忍受得住。
1. God gives us a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
1. 上帝賜我們是剛強、仁愛、謹守的心。
2. A person of God should love what is good, be holy and disciplined.
2. 上帝的子民知道好善，聖潔自守。
3. Strict training is needed to get the crown of victory.
3. 得勝者在凡事上都有節制。
4. God will not let us be tempted beyond what we can bear.
4. 我們所遇見的試探都是所能受的。

Father Almighty, in these times where people enjoy abundance, teach us to be disciplined that we may do good works and live as your disciples.
