當地時間7月16日，溫布林登網球公開賽的“皇家包廂”中，出現了兩個備受喜愛的面孔，9歲的喬治小王子和8歲的夏洛特公主，來觀看男單決賽了。

從兩位小王室成員那興奮的樣子看，他們還真的是非常享受諾塞爾維亞老將瓦克·德約科維奇與西班牙新秀卡洛斯·阿爾卡拉斯的對決。

據《鏡報》稱，兩個孩子坐在“皇家包廂”中，其實是違反了溫布林登規則的，即未成年人不可以進入“皇家包廂”，多年來這項規則一直執行著，但顯然喬治和夏洛特是可以打破規則的，畢竟未來他們還要無數次地出現在這個包廂中，而且終有一天需要他們獨自到來，而不是跟著爸爸媽媽。

喬治去年跟隨父母來到過溫網賽場，而夏洛特則是“首秀”，穿著碎花裙的小公主第一次到現場觀看溫網比賽。

據凱特王妃自己說，她小時候也經常來看溫網比賽，因為全家都是網球迷，但那個時候她需要和爸爸妹妹一起排隊買票，當然他們也無法坐進“皇家包廂”。

當球場的大螢幕上出現他們的影像時，夏洛特興奮地指給媽媽看，而喬治則是開心地揮著手，似乎覺得這是一件頗為有意思的事情，盡顯童真。

也許是初次到現場要更為興奮，也許原本就是外向性格，但不管怎麼說，當天夏洛特的表現的確更搶眼，而且還一直做著祈求好運的手勢。

據悉，王室成員在觀眾席上是需要保持中立的，不能偏向任何一方，但鑑於德約科維奇的名氣，夏洛特和哥哥很可能會給頭號種子加油。事實上，就在去年的時候，喬治不小心說漏嘴過，稱自己更想支援德約科維奇。

當天夏洛特還佩戴了一個很可愛的太陽鏡，而她無論是緊張還是開心，都會秀出她的“小兔牙”，看上去更加萌趣可愛了。這也是這個年齡的孩子的特色，等牙齒都長全後，就不會這麼突兀了。

西班牙國王費利佩六世也罕見地出現在了溫網的觀眾席上，為本國的小將加油。似乎是不想讓國王失望，只有20歲的阿爾卡拉斯贏得了職業生涯中的第一個“挑戰者杯”。

當一家四口準備走向自己的座位時，費利佩起身和他們打了招呼，夏洛特還真是不怯場，落落大方地看著家族的遠房親戚。

費利佩的母親索菲亞王太后曾是希臘公主，同時也是夏洛特的曾祖父菲利普親王的堂侄女，如此算來，夏洛特需要稱費利佩為堂伯。

Prince George and Princess Charlotte were all smiles as they stepped out to enjoy the Wimbledon Men's Singles Final on Sunday alongside their parents Prince William and Princess Kate. 

For the eagerly anticipated occasion,  Princess Kate wore a dazzling green Roland Mouret dress which she teamed with an elegant chain bag,  nude pointed heels and some statement jewel earrings. 

She wore her glossy chocolate tresses down loose and finished off her look with a sweep of sculpting bronzer and rosy blusher. 

Prince William,  meanwhile,  looked smart in a light grey linen suit and a navy tie. 

The royal couple's eldest children Prince George and Princess Charlotte made a surprise appearance at the men's final. 

Prince George,  nine,  looked dapper in navy blue,  while Princess Charlotte,  eight,  emulated her mother's sophistication in a paisley print blue dress complete with ruffled sleeves. 

She wore her hair in braids and finished off her look with a sweet pastel blue ribbon to match her dress. 

The appearance marks Princess Charlotte's Wimbledon debut. 

Prince George,  meanwhile,  first attended the tennis tournament back in 2022. 

Princess Kate attended the South London tennis tournament in her role as patron of the AELTC,  a patronage she inherited from the late Queen Elizabeth II. 

Ahead of the match between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz,  the royals took a pew in the coveted Royal Box above Centre Court. 

The exclusive forest green box is reserved for VIPs and Hollywood A-listers. 

And according to the late monarch's former press secretary,  Dickie Arbiter,  the royal box invites are entirely "up to Wimbledon. "  George and Charlotte's presence in the Royal Box is a rare sight. 

Unless they are members of the royal family,  youngsters are not allowed to sit in the Royal Box under any circumstances –  a rule that has reportedly ruffled feathers in the past. 

Princess Charlotte later whipped out a pair of blush pink sunglasses to shield her eyes from the sun's rays. 

She could be seen watching intently with her fingers crossed for good luck. 

During the tense match,  Prince George and Princess Charlotte charmed crowds with an array of animated facial expressions. 

At one point,  George even hid his face in his hands as the tennis tournament heated up during one particularly nail-biting rally. 

In a show of support,  Charlotte sweetly clapped her hands with a look of pure joy etched across her face. 

Carlos Alcaraz won the tournament,  after a nailbiting final in front of King Felipe of Spain,  who Alcaraz mentioned in his winner's speech after Princess Kate presented him with his trophy.
