Tourism Australia is looking for a motivated and experienced Aussie Specialist Program Trainer to join our team in Beijing, China. This role is key to educating and inspiring front-line travel agents to promote and sell Australia as a must visit destination.
The Aussie Specialist Program is a global training platform designed to educate, update, and motivate travel agents to sell Australia. In partnership with all eight state and territory Tourism organisations (STO's), this program equips front-line sales agents with the knowledge and tools to increase bookings and maximise visitor expenditure.

As the ASP Trainer, you will:
1. Deliver engaging face-to-face and online training sessions (webinars, workshops, and presentations) for ASP qualified travel agents
2. Recruit and onboard new agents, encouraging them to register and actively participate in the program
3. Work with the Aussie Specialist Digital Coordinator, ASP Program Manager and STOs to enhance training content and digital tools
4. Travel within Northern China and Australia to conduct training and support marketing campaigns and MICE
5. Provide market insights from front-line sales agents to help evolve the ASP online platform and digital content
6. Develop and maintain a comprehensive training plan, including a monthly training calendar
7. Organise and lead familiarisation trips to Australia
8. Support industry events and trade shows, engaging with key partners to promote the ASP
9. Maintain and manage an ASP agent database, engaging inactive agents to improve retention
· 3-5 years of experience in a sales or product development role
· Australian destination and product knowledge essential
· Solid experience designing, developing and delivering engaging and successful training programs that meet business needs
· Excellent English language skills(reading, writing, speaking, and listening)
· Proven experience in training, facilitation and public speaking
· Strong event management and customer service skills
· Experience with presentation tools (PowerPoint, webinar technology, etc.)
· Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with travel industry partners
· High level of initiative and organisational skills
· Willingness to travel
