《每日電訊報》1月18日報道,最新資料顯示,在去年參加澳洲入籍考試的人中,有三分之一不合格。
2024年共有超18.3萬人參與入籍考試,但只有12.2萬人通過了考試。
18至59歲的人在申請成為澳洲公民時,必須參加一項入籍測試,並在20道選擇題中至少答對15題。
題目涉及澳洲歷史和法律、選舉權、澳新軍團日是為了紀念誰以及該國首都是什麼等問題。
要想透過考試,申請者還需正確回答所有5道有關“自由、尊重和平等”的題目,且總分必須達到75%以上。
