Walt Disney and Warner Bros Discovery stocks were falling sharply on Thursday after China announced it's cutting imports of American films, Barron's reported. Walt Disney closed down by 6.79 percent while Warner Bros. Discovery dropped by 12.53 percent.
據悉，迪士尼的《頭腦特工隊2》是2024年全球票房最高的電影。該片全球票房收入約17億美元，其中約6.53億美元來自美國本土，4740萬美元來自中國。華納兄弟的《沙丘2》是2024年全球票房收入排名第七的電影，票房收入7.146億美元，其中美國本土票房收入2.821億美元，中國票房收入4900萬美元。
美國多個主要電影公司股價下跌
截至4月10日收盤，美國主要電影公司的股價表現如下：

華特迪士尼公司：收於85.23美元，下跌6.21美元，跌幅6.79%。

康卡斯特公司：收於33.68美元，下跌1.5美元，跌幅4.26%。

索尼集團公司：收於22.92美元，下跌0.05美元，跌幅0.22%。

派拉蒙全球公司：收於10.92美元，下跌0.22美元，跌幅1.97%。

奈飛公司：收於921.17美元，下跌24.30美元，跌幅2.57%。
國家電影局就電影方面
應對美升級對華關稅答記者問
中國國家電影局發言人10日表示，美國政府對中國濫施關稅的錯誤行徑，勢必會令國內觀眾對美國影片好感度進一步降低。我們將遵循市場規律，尊重觀眾選擇，適度減少美國影片進口數量。中國是全球第二大電影市場，我們始終堅持高水平對外開放，將引進世界更多國家優秀影片，滿足市場需求。
China's top film regulator said on Thursday it will moderately reduce the number of US films imported, according to a release it posted on its website.When recently asked whether the US tariff hikes on Chinese goods would affect the import of US films, a spokesperson for the China Film Administration said that the US government's erroneous practice of imposing excessive tariffs on China will inevitably further diminish Chinese audiences' goodwill toward US films, according to the release."We will follow the law of the market, respect the choice of the audience, and moderately reduce the number of imported US films," said the spokesperson.The spokesperson also emphasized that China — the world's second-largest film market — remains committed to high-level openness and will introduce excellent films from more countries to meet market demand.
