Outcome of the Ohio Supreme Court election will have significant impact on abortion rights and redistricting in Ohio. Six candidates are vying for three Ohio Supreme Court seats. Eight minority organizations in Central Ohio, AACG (Asian
American Commerce Group), AACO (Asian American Coalition of Ohio), The Libre
Initiative Action, PASCO (the Philiphins AmericanSociety of Central Ohio), CAPA (Community
Association of Pakistani Americans), Somali American Chamber of
Commerce, OCAA (Ohio Chinese American Association) and West and East African
Community, joined hand to host two in-person candidate forums, one on October
10 for the Republican candidates, and one on October 22 for the Democrat
candidates. Both events drew a substantial turnout, with over 100 attendees
each night and a strong presence of candidates. The forums highlighted the
strength and significance of minority communities, as well as their ability to
unite and achieve remarkable outcomes.

Early voting is open until November 3. Mail in ballot has to
be postmarked by Nov. 4, 2024. Poll opens on November 5 at 6:30 AM and closes
at 7:30 PM.
