continuous transdermal alcohol biosensor (the first “Fitbit for alcohol”) and a large-scale study examining
the influence of social processes and alcohol consumption using EEG hyperscanning.

The Coordinator of Research Programs will be trained in research in clinical psychology and addiction
research and will gain experience in study implementation, including participant interaction; data
management; supervision of undergraduate research assistants; general research administration; and
possibly assistance with the preparation of grants and manuscripts. Duties would include, but would not
be limited to, the management of study data and equipment, and the recruitment, screening, and running
of study participants.

We are looking for applicants who have a passion for research, an eye towards detail, effective and
flexible time management skills, a willingness to attempt novel and challenging tasks, and strong
interpersonal skills. Experience in EEG/ERP methodology is also preferred. Other responsibilities could
include, but are not limited to, data management, literature searching, preparing materials for the IRB, the
reviewing of proofs, and the purchasing of lab supplies. Weekend and evening availability is required,
as many of our study visits take place on weekends due to participant availability.

The Center for the Advancement of Research on Eating Behaviors (CARE) has an opening for a research coordinator to help coordinate clinical trials and basic science research in eating disorders!
The research coordinator will work closely with Dr. Kelsie Forbush, PI and CARE Director, and Dr. Angeline Bottera, CARE Associate Director, and a team of local and international researchers.
