Show Time! American History Film Screening Series, Beijing American Center
開演啦！北京美國中心美國曆史影片系列賞析
Explore American History through the lens of feature films, from historical dramas to more recent productions that show the American historical landscape. This 6-month program is comprised of two sessions: film screenings and post-screening discussions (the week after the screening) that are led by an American diplomat. All screenings are open to the public. Discussion participants will be selected. This opportunity is open to local residents who love films and are eager to deepen their understanding of U.S. history. We will select up to 20 dedicated individuals for this 6-month program.
Application and Selection Procedures:
– Fill out the application in its entirety and submit it by midnight, March 24, 2025.
– Up to 20 successful applicants will be accepted and notified on or before March 28, 2025.
– Discussion participants must be able to attend at least 4 of the 6 sessions.
– Note: This is a competitive application; not all applicants will be accepted into the program. Maximum 20 slots available.
U.S. History Film Screening and Discussion dates:
The film screenings and discussions will take place in-person at the Beijing American Center, U.S. Embassy.
