Join us at the Beijing American Center for Coffee with a Diplomat with this month’s guest, Mary Sue Fields. Mary Sue has worked as Minister Counselor for Public Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing since August 2023. As a career member of the Senior Foreign Service, Mary Sue has served overseas in Beijing, Shanghai, and Chengdu, China; Guadalajara, Mexico; and Santiago, Chile. Before joining the Foreign Service in 2002, Mary Sue worked for more than a decade in the field of education, including teaching foreign languages in public schools and universities in the United States and France. Grab a cup of coffee and join Mary Sue as she discusses her background, experience, and current duties and answers your questions about life as a diplomat in China.

This event will be conducted in English. You must be 18 years or older to attend. Coffee and cookies will be served.
Only 20 spots available. Application deadline: April 21, 2025, at 11:00 p.m. If you are accepted, you will be notified via email on or before April 23, 2025 with details on how to attend.

交通：地鐵10號線，亮馬橋站B出口，向東北步行至天澤路和安家樓路交匯處，簽證處北側。Directions: Metro Line 10, Liangmaqiao Station Exit B, walk northeast to the Tian Ze Road intersection of An Jia Lou Road, north side of the Visas Office.
