“藥膳麵包”火了!加了黨參的司康餅什麼味兒?

軟糯的乳酪夾心麵包,初嘗是熟悉的麵包香,細品卻有淡淡藥草回甘——一款江蘇省揚州市中醫院推出的藥膳麵包,在麵糰中融入了當歸、茯苓、枸杞等多味中藥材,讓顧客菜菜(化名)感到驚喜。
Soft and buttery with a cream cheese filling, the bread that Caicai eagerly grabbed one recent afternoon tasted like an ordinary milk bun at first — until a subtle herbal bitterness emerged. The loaf is sold at a bakery affiliated with a traditional Chinese medicine hospital in Yangzhou, Jiangsu province, and fortified with several TCM ingredients including Chinese angelica, tuckahoe, and goji berries. 
“我平時會看中醫調理體質,聽說醫院賣麵包立刻有了興趣。” 菜菜說道。 “品嚐之後,我發現麵包不僅味道好、價格公道,更重要的是能嚐出真材實料的中藥成分。我肯定會回購。”
I usually rely on TCM to regulate my overall health condition. When I heard the hospital was selling bread, I was immediately intrigued,” she said. It tasted pretty good, and the price was fair. More importantly, I could tell it actually contained genuine TCM substances, so I will definitely buy it again.

近年來,傳統中藥與現代食品的跨界融合逐漸成為新風尚,餐飲界紛紛推出藥膳冰淇淋、草本奶茶等產品。
The marrying of modern food with TCM ingredients has gained traction in recent years. Catering businesses have tapped into the trend with TCM-infused ice cream, beverages, and milk tea to satisfy younger palates seeking unique flavors.
如今多家醫療機構也加入這場創新實踐,推出的“苦甜交織”麵包產品受到年輕消費者的追捧。
A number of hospitals have now jumped onto the bandwagon, and their bittersweet creations have turned out to be a great hit.
揚州市中醫院治未病中心副主任趙偉介紹,今年4月初推出的六款藥膳麵包一上市就引發搶購,高峰期需排隊兩小時。 “經過產能最佳化和銷售流程調整,目前日均銷量穩定在3000-4000個。”他說。
The Yangzhou Hospital of TCM started selling six flavors of TCM-infused bread in early April, and the waiting time was as long as two hours at the beginning, said Zhao Wei, deputy director of the hospitals preventive medicine center.
We have since ramped up production and adjusted sales procedures, and the average daily sales are around 3,000 to 4,000 pieces of bread,” he said. 
“越來越多年輕人希望透過中醫來調理身體,但又害怕湯藥苦澀難嚥。”趙偉說。“因此我們將經典古方融入麵包配方,既保留藥效又提升適口性。”
Zhao said that a growing number of young people want to improve their health condition through TCM therapies but dread the pungent and bitter taste of herbal decoctions. So we came up with the idea of integrating ancient, classical TCM formulas into bread recipes,” he said.

據悉,六款產品單價均在10元左右,所有中藥材均選自國家頒佈的藥食同源目錄。
Each of the six flavors is priced around 10 yuan ($1.4). All TCM ingredients used belong to an official list of herbal ingredients that can be used as both medicine and food.
菜菜喜歡的那款麵包,其配方源自明代醫藥學家李時珍《本草綱目》記載的“七寶美髯丹” 方劑。
The tender bread that Caicai favored is derived from a hair-enriching formula recorded in Bencao Gangmu, or Compendium of Materia Medica, a medical encyclopedia compiled by Li Shizhen, a renowned herbalist from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
另一款新增黨參、甘草等八味藥材的司康餅,則化用了古代清熱除煩的經典方劑。
Another creation is a scone containing eight TCM ingredients, including ginseng and licorice. It is inspired by another ancient formula originally designed to alleviate fever, agitation, thirst, and other conditions.

據媒體報道,天津、貴州等地醫療機構以及百年老字號同仁堂近期也相繼推出類似產品,深受消費者歡迎。
Media reports show that hospitals in Tianjin municipality and the southwestern province of Guizhou, as well as Tongrentang, a leading TCM brand, are selling TCM-infused bread products and winning the hearts of customers.
中國中醫科學院廣安門醫院食療營養部主任王宜指出,這類創新延續了中醫藥膳的理念,食材兼具營養與藥用價值。
Wang Yi, director of the diet therapy and nutrition department at Guanganmen Hospital of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, said these TCM-infused food build on a TCM practice known as Yao Shan, or medicated diet, where ingredients serve both nutritional and medicinal purposes.

國家中醫藥管理局資料顯示,已經組織制定的400餘個中醫診療方案、50多箇中醫護理方案、20項中醫治未病干預指南均包含飲食調護內容。
According to the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, medicated diets have been incorporated into over 400 TCM treatment protocols, 50 TCM nursing guidelines, and 20 TCM preventive medicine guidelines.
王宜表示,隨著健康意識的提升,藥食同源產品的重要性獲得更廣泛的認知,在增強體質、防治疾病和降低醫藥費等方面都發揮了它獨特的作用。同時,這些產品的生產鏈非常廣,連線著農業、工業和服務業,對於推動健康中國建設和健康產業發展有著不可替代的作用。
Wang said that as public health awareness grows in China, medicated foods are gaining wider recognition. “The medicated diet system not only helps enhance public health, prevent disease, and reduce healthcare costs but also drives economic growth as it will enhance growth in agriculture, industry, and services,” she said.
王宜強調,中藥材食品生產必須遵循國家規定的106種藥食兩用物質的範圍。同時,要符合基本的中醫原則和 “三因制宜”(因人、因時、因地)的原則。
However, Wang emphasized that TCM food production must comply with national regulations, including the list of dual-purpose TCM ingredients. It is also important to follow basic TCM principles and take individual health conditions and regional environments into consideration when consuming such products.
