1. Principal Engineer-Perception And CV

  • Build, lead and manage our Perception and CV R&D team.
  • Define and execute both the short-term and long-term engineering and R&D plans of perception and CV, to support current and next-generation product development and frontier research in company.

  • Write strong technical proposals. Define the overall solution and design the architect to ensure that the R&D deliverable of the perception and CV team satisfies the requirements of the products.
  • As the owner of sub-systems of perception and CV, responsible for creating critical components including but not limited to object detection, segmentation, matching, recognition, pose estimation, registration, calibration, situation awareness, content analysis, semantic analysis, etc., which will be essential for autonomous and intelligent robotic manipulation, navigation, collaboration, and decision making.
  • As the team head and sub-system owner, lead and mentor junior/senior engineers and scientists to develop novel and robust interface and algorithms for real products and R&D deliverables execute hands-on work.
  • Organize and manage daily R&D operations and effort, review the R&D progress, manage risks, and propose solutions to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Support company’s perception and CV R&D effort and production in different BUs and different domains. Work as internal expert and consultant for other company teams.
  • Track the state-of-the-art technology and conduct frontier fundamental and applied R&D.
  • Actively attend international conferences and forums, present our work, publish research articles, and file invention patents.
  • Build connections and collaborations with academia institutions and industrial partners.
  • Domestic and international travels required for internal meetings, external technical meetings, conferences, and partner discussions.

Role Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in Computer Vision, Sensing, Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, and related fields with a minimum of 5 years of experience in creating perception and CV systems.
  • Experience in system architecture, design, and development.
  • Proficient in at least one of the main programming languages, including C++, Python, Java, etc. Ability to write clean and efficient code.
  • Experience with ROS and comfortable in working on Linux platform, e.g., Ubuntu.
  • In-depth expertise in technical fields relevant to perception and CV with both system-level thinking and algorithmic-level development.

2.Research Engineer-Mechanics

  • Identify the requirements of hardware and mechanical components for our current and new robot products with the local and global business, product, and R&D teams. Convert the requirements into mechanical designs, prototypes, and products.

  • As a Senior Electrical Engineer position at ASML San Jose, you will develop low-noise high-stability electrical modules for new-generation products of SEM system.
