據央視新聞報道，當地時間2月27日，根據航班資訊，烏克蘭總統澤連斯基已抵達美國。
當天稍早前，美國總統特朗普表示，將於當地時間2月28日上午11時與澤連斯基會面。雙方將就開發礦產和稀土協議進行會談。
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in the United States on Thursday, according to flight information.US President Donald Trump said Wednesday that Zelensky will visit the White House on Friday to sign a long-sought minerals deal.
美國總統特朗普在當地時間2月26日的內閣會議上證實烏克蘭總統澤連斯基將於本週五訪美，並簽署有關烏克蘭稀土礦產及其他事項的協議。
不過特朗普強調，美國不會向烏克蘭提供太多安全保障。但烏克蘭方面認為，這份協議是向美國爭取安全保障的核心所在。
澤連斯基2月26日當天在基輔對媒體表示，這份協議是大獲成功還是悄然消失，全都取決於與特朗普的對話。他將在週五訪美時直接向特朗普提三個問題：美國是否還支援烏克蘭？烏克蘭能否從美國購買武器？烏克蘭能否用被凍結的俄羅斯資產買武器？
Zelensky said he wants to discuss with Trump whether the US plans to halt military aid and, if so, whether Ukraine would be able to purchase weapons directly from the US.He also wants to know whether Ukraine can use frozen Russian assets for the purchase of weapons and investments and whether Washington plans to lift sanctions on Russia.
澤連斯基還說，按照敲定的礦產框架協議，烏克蘭不需對美方已提供援助承擔償還債務的責任，“協議中不包括（美方此前要求烏方支付的）5000億美元、3500億美元或1000億美元的內容”，因為這對烏克蘭而言“有失公正”。
