A new trend has emerged on Chinese social media: young people are visiting the tombs of historical figures and leaving unconventional offerings. Photos shared online show a sign reading "Fan Rest Area for Li Yu and Wang Zhihuan" at the grave site of Li Yu – the last emperor of the Southern Tang Dynasty during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period (907-960) – and the famous Tang Dynasty (618-907) poet Wang Zhihuan.
更有人精心準備“南唐故土”置於墓前。
Some visitors have even brought soil from what was once Southern Tang territory to Li Yu.

這個清明假期，不少年輕人踏上了旅程，不過他們的目的地有些“特殊”，是歷史名人的永眠地。

有人給白居易墓前放了小柴胡和感冒靈顆粒；
有人折了幾支野油菜花放在杜甫墓前；
李白的墓前擺放著來自五湖四海的美酒，還有人送來兩罐，“一罐送李白，一罐送杜甫”；
曹操高陵的供品主打“醫頭風”——止疼藥布洛芬的種類應有盡有，因為三國迷們幾乎皆知曹操飽受頭風病的困擾；
霍去病陵墓前則有許多零食、玩具和奶茶，大家想讓這位24歲就去世的大將軍嚐嚐鮮……

網友表示：這是獨屬於中國人的浪漫。
據華西都市報報道，清明前夕，李青山（化名）從四川出發，去大青山腳下拜謁李白墓。
One visitor, Li Qingshan (pseudonym), traveled from Sichuan province to the tomb of renowned Tang dynasty poet Li Bai.
她帶了一封手寫的信，在紙上寫了最近事業上的困頓。她這樣寫道：“昔年墓前嘗問君：‘案牘勞形，吾心安適？’然歲星周天，猶陷塵網。既未得公文竊四海之才，復難效君飄然不群之風。誦君‘安能摧眉折腰事權貴’之句，撫膺愧煞。”

李青山對華西都市報記者說，“我沒有帶酒，因為感覺古今各地請他喝酒的人太多了，但是給他寫信的人應該不太多吧。”
Li wrote him a letter describing her career struggles. "So many people have offered him wine over the centuries — I thought a personal letter might be more meaningful," Li said.
如今，這樣的“歷史奔現”不僅侷限於古代人物，還有很多近現代英雄。
The practice is not limited to ancient historical figures – many are also visiting graves of more modern heroes.
