She is the voice behind the iconic character Nezha in the record-breaking Chinese animated film Ne Zha 2. From landing the role to delivering a flawless performance, Lyu Yanting used her voice to breathe life into Nezha, portraying a legendary character who defies fate. In the process, she also discovered a stage where she could truly shine.

Lyu, a voice actor and associate professor at Sichuan Film and Television University, recently sat down with us for an exclusive interview. She shared the behind-the-scenes stories and insights from her journey as a voiceover artist.

從接手到呈現：“整個過程協作感很強”

當呂豔婷第一次接到為“哪吒”配音的工作時，她並沒有太多預設的概念。“我只知道要為一個叫哪吒的角色配音，”她回憶道，“但看到臺詞後，我發現這個哪吒可能和我們傳統認知中的形象不同，從言行到形象都是一個全新的展現。”

影片中，哪吒沙啞的“小煙嗓”，讓觀眾印象深刻。現實中，呂豔婷身為女性，本人的嗓音其實是溫婉、明亮的。對此，呂豔婷介紹，用這種聲音呈現哪吒，是導演決定的。“導演一開始就非常明確他想要的聲音狀態，”她說。

在配音過程中，呂豔婷不僅要精準把握角色的情緒，還要與動畫的畫面、節奏完美契合。“配音和演戲其實很像，”她解釋道，“我們拿到的是臺詞的劇本，導演在現場講戲，我們在自己對劇本和角色有一定理解力的情況下，根據導演講戲，來完成最終的表演。”

During the dubbing process, Lyu not only had to accurately capture the character's emotions, but also synchronize perfectly with the animation's visuals and pacing. "Dubbing is very similar to acting," she explained. "We work with a script, and the director explains the scenes on set. Based on the director’s guidance and our own understanding of the script and the character, we work to deliver the final performance."

從接到角色到最終呈現，呂豔婷表示，是團隊每個人配合與努力的結果，“整個過程協作感很強，每個人在每個崗位上，大家都把這件事很認真地去完成，然後儘可能達成一個大家都覺得很好的狀態，最後呈現出來。”

From landing the role to the final presentation, Lyu emphasized that the result was a collaborative effort. "The whole process is highly collaborative, with everyone in their respective roles taking their work seriously and striving to achieve a result that everyone is satisfied with."

坦言“曾經有過孤獨感”，現在“很幸運”

從接觸配音到成為行業佼佼者，呂豔婷的職業生涯並非一帆風順。她坦言，“曾經有過孤獨感” ，但透過哪吒這個角色，她終於找到了屬於自己的舞臺。

Lyu's journey to becoming a top voice actor wasn't without challenges. She admitted to having "experienced moments of loneliness," but through the role of Nezha, she found a stage where she could truly shine.

她表示，能夠透過如此優秀的角色展現自己的能力，是一種幸運。“哪吒把我以前自己喜歡的、琢磨的東西全都發揮出來了，”她笑著說道，“我特別感謝這麼一個好的角色。”

She expressed gratitude for the opportunity to showcase her abilities through such an exceptional character. "Nezha allowed me to express everything I've been cultivating, including the things I've been pondering privately. It's all come to life through this character, and I'm deeply grateful for that."

自上映以來，《哪吒2》屢創票房神話，持續打破紀錄。對於影片取得的成績，呂豔婷表示，“看到全民的熱情度，我覺得我們找到了屬於自己的小驕傲。”

Since its release, Ne Zha 2 has repeatedly broken box office records, becoming a cultural phenomenon. Lyu couldn't be prouder of the film's success. "Seeing the audience's enthusiasm, I feel we've found a sense of pride," she said.

呂豔婷認為，《哪吒2》是能夠體現中國動畫水平的標杆，“未來我們在這個基礎上會更好，會更有發揮。”

She believes Ne Zha 2 represents a benchmark for Chinese animation. "It sets a benchmark, and I believe we can build on this success to create even better works in the future."

哪吒的獨特性：中國文化中的“俠義”精神

在呂豔婷看來，哪吒與西方超級英雄有著本質的不同。“西方超級英雄更多是個人英雄主義，”她分析道，而《哪吒》則深深紮根於中國文化，強調情感、人與人的連結。

In Lyu's view, Ne Zha 2 is fundamentally different from Western superhero blockbusters. "Western superheroes often embody individualism," she analyzed, while Nezha is deeply rooted in Chinese culture, emphasizing emotions and human connections.

“它不是說一個人去完成一個什麼東西，而更注重的是情義，人和人之間的聯絡——父母的情、朋友的情，然後包括我們講的‘俠義’，”呂豔婷解釋說。

In Lyu's view, Ne Zha 2 is fundamentally different from Western superhero blockbusters. "Western superheroes often embody individualism," she analyzed, while Nezha is deeply rooted in Chinese culture, emphasizing emotions and human connections.

配音演員的修養：這樣的角色“可遇不可求”

作為一名專業配音演員，呂豔婷深知駕馭多樣角色的重要性。

“不會有那麼好的、那麼匹配你的角色就在那等著你，而且你一輩子也不可能只配那一個那麼匹配你的角色。真的是可遇不可求的。”她表示，因此，專業配音演員需要不斷提升自己的能力，去駕馭更多型別的角色。

As a professional voice actress, Lyu understands the importance of versatility. "You can't expect to always find roles that perfectly suit you, and you certainly can't rely on just one ideal role throughout your entire career. Such opportunities are rare—truly a matter of luck, not something you can count on. So, as a voice actor, you need to be able to adapt to a variety of roles."

“我們需要提高自己的理解力、閱歷，以及對事物的一個不同的認知角度。可能在這些情況下然後再結合專業能力，才能去很好地完成我們未來可能會遇到的各種各樣的角色。”

She emphasized the need for continuous self-improvement. "We need to improve our comprehension, expand our life experiences, and cultivate different perspectives. Only by combining these with our professional skills can we successfully portray the diverse roles we may encounter in the future."

“在喜歡它的時候，就好好愛它”

對於想要進入配音行業的年輕人，呂豔婷也給出了建議：如果你真的喜歡配音，那就把它做好。你可能不清楚未來，但可以把握當下。

For young people aspiring to enter the voice acting industry, Lyu offered this advice: If you truly love it, give it your all. You may not know what the future holds, but you can make the most of the present.

“我們只能把握現在的狀態，比如在學生的時候，我就把這個東西學好。我在喜歡它的時候，我就好好地愛它，就為它做相應的努力。因為未來也不知道它在哪個時候會發光。”

"While we can't predict the future, since we're passionate about it now, let's give it our best. All we can do is focus on the present and make the most of it. If you're a student, study hard. If you love it, pour your heart into it and put in the effort. Because you never know when your passion will shine."

她表示，最喜歡哪吒的一句臺詞是，“你是誰，只有你自己說了才算。”
