5月15日晚，國家稅務總局上海市稅務局第四稽查局釋出情況通報稱“近日，我局收到王某對劉某某及相關企業存在涉稅問題的舉報，目前正在依法依規辦理。”
Liu Xiaoqing, a renowned Chinese actress, has been accused of tax evasion, sparking a widespread controversy. The Shanghai Municipal Tax Service of the State Taxation Administration has launched an investigation into the allegations.
據媒體報道，王先生實名舉報劉曉慶涉嫌偷稅漏稅，指控劉曉慶名下的全資公司上海弈熙文化傳媒中心透過開具增值稅發票的方式規避個人所得稅。
王先生的舉報內容顯示，2020年，劉曉慶珠寶（寧波）有限公司（以下簡稱劉曉慶珠寶公司）向王先生借款300餘萬元，劉曉慶透過名下小微企業上海弈熙文化傳媒中心，以“形象代言費”名義將300餘萬元借款轉為個人收入，並開具6%稅點的增值稅發票規避27%以上的個人所得稅。
According to the whistleblower, Mr Wang, Liu's company, received a loan of 3.3 million yuan from him in 2020. Liu allegedly converted the loan into personal income under the guise of "image endorsement fees" and issued invoices to evade taxes.
王先生稱，目前上海市稅務局第四稽查局已受理此案，將對劉曉慶及相關公司展開調查。
5月15日晚，劉曉慶在社交平臺發文，稱有關“涉嫌偷稅漏稅”的舉報內容與客觀事實不符，與舉報人王某並不認識，也從無交集，本人及上海弈熙文化傳媒中心將配合稅務機關調查核實。
In response to the allegations, Liu has expressed her willingness to cooperate with the authorities and undergo any necessary investigations, maintaining that she has nothing to hide. She also claims to have no prior connection or acquaintance with the whistleblower, Wang, who filed the complaint against her.
2002年，劉曉慶曾因名下公司偷稅漏稅問題被捲入巨大的風波之中。當時，稅務部門經過調查發現，劉曉慶公司存在嚴重的偷漏稅行為，金額高達1458萬元。這一事件震驚了整個娛樂圈，劉曉慶也因此被拘留超400天。
