Research Assistant

in the Schizophrenia and Social Cognition Lab

at the University of Texas as Dallas

The Schizophrenia and Social Cognition Lab at The University of Texas as Dallas is looking to
hire one full-time research assistant to help with a NIMH funded study that will systematically
develop and validate assessments that are appropriate for measuring social cognition in
individuals who are at clinical high-risk for developing psychosis. The full job posting can be

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: subject recruitment; subject
testing (behavioral testing and EMA); data management; project organization. Bachelors’
degree is required. Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal
communication skills to effectively interact with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse
community. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and
manage multiple tasks concurrently are also desired.
