為什麼心理測試能助力團隊成功

不管是對個人成長還是為組建團隊,你能做的最重要的事情之一就是誠實地瞭解自己,瞭解你的偏好、瞭解你的優勢和不足,以便思考如何與他人互補。如果你正在組建團隊,就需要從全域性出發,瞭解團隊每個人的特質,看他們的長處和短處可以如何協同合作。
我在2021年推出了PrinciplesYou人格測試,你可以去測試一下,透過它來認識自己。當其他人參與測試後,你也能更深入地瞭解他們,因為這個測試能揭示一個人的思維方式,他們的偏好,並能幫助你構建團隊。在我把人格測試引入橋水之前,員工之間常有不滿情緒。比如大局觀強的人會對注重細節的人說,“你為什麼總拘泥於細節?”而注重細節的人會對大局觀強的人說:“你在天馬行空,你要更現實一點。”事實上,兩者說的都有道理,當他們一起工作相互瞭解時,就會意識到這一點。他們在此之前不瞭解每個人的思維方式各有不同,也不知道如何利用這種差異來協作,直到我們引入了人格測試並將其應用於團隊建設。因此,我推薦大家使用PrinciplesYou。

One of the most important things that you can do for yourself individually and also in building a team is to honestly know yourself, know your preferences, know your strengths and weaknesses, and then see how you can fit together. And if you're building a team, you have to look at that from the top down and see what are those people like and how do they fit together in terms of their strengths and weaknesses?
And I created this PrinciplesYou test. You can go take it and you'll learn about yourself. And when others take it, you can learn about them because it tells a lot about how one thinks and the preferences they have and how to create the organizations. Before I put psychometric testing into Bridgewater, people would get very frustrated with each other. Like the big picture thinker would say the detail thinker, “why do you get all hung up on the detail”. And the detail thinker would think about the big picture thinker. They would say, :you've got your head in the clouds, you've got to get practical.” And the truth was that both were true and that when they worked together, they understood that. They didn't understand that people think differently and they didn't understand how to use it until there was good psychometric testing and then using that psychometric testing to build teams. So I recommend it.
