At least five Harvard University student associations are back-pedaling on their support for a joint letter blaming Israel for the Hamas attack following a backlash.
A “doxing truck” drove around the university campus Wednesday with a billboard displaying the images and names of people who are thought to have signed the letter, alongside a banner that says "Harvard's Leading Antisemites".
In a message on X, Hedge fund CEO Bill Ackman called for students to be blacklisted so he and other companies don't hire them.
Multiple other business leaders, including the CEOs of shopping club FabFitFun, health tech startup EasyHealth and Dovehill Capital Management supported the call from Ackman to name the students.
Israeli billionaire Idan Ofer and his wife are resigning their posts on the executive board of Harvard’s Kennedy School in protest of school President Claudine Gay’s belated lukewarm response to the student letter.

要說現在霸榜世界的頭條，必然是驟然升級的巴以衝突。
最近，巴勒斯坦和以色列這對“宿敵”，又將武器對準了彼此。
當地時間10月7日，巴勒斯坦伊斯蘭抵抗運動組織（哈馬斯）宣佈對以色列採取軍事行動，向以色列境內發射了至少5000枚火箭彈。
隨後，以色列國防軍宣佈進入“戰爭狀態”， 以色列總理內塔尼亞胡表示，以軍的回擊必須讓哈馬斯“付出巨大代價”。
這意味著，持續數十年的巴以衝突驟然升級，兩方人民再次被捲入漩渦之中。
根據以色列媒體及醫療部門的資料，巴以新一輪衝突已致700多名以色列人死亡，超過2200名以色列人受傷。
巴勒斯坦加沙地帶衛生部門當晚發表宣告，稱以色列軍隊襲擊加沙地帶已造成至少413人死亡、2300人受傷。
雙方傷亡超過5600人。
目前，巴以的戰火一路燒到了美國的教育界。
由34個哈佛學生組織組成的聯盟，哈佛大學本科生巴勒斯坦團結委員會（Harvard Undergraduate Palestine Solidarity Committee，簡稱PSC）發聲明表示，以色列該為此事件負全責。
根據Harvard Crimson的報道，這份宣告由一些哈佛大學的巴勒斯坦團結組織發表，譴責以色列政權對巴勒斯坦人的暴力行為。
宣告強調以色列政權對巴勒斯坦人的持續壓迫，呼籲哈佛大學社群採取行動，制止對巴勒斯坦人的持續打擊。
宣告的最後寫道：為了學生的安全，所有最初簽署組織的名字在此時被隱藏。
這個宣告遭到了很多媒體和美各界人士的抵制。
紐約郵報說，透過這個事情可以看出美國高等教育病得不輕，正在走向墮落。
華爾街大佬還揚言要向哈佛大學索取發聲明的學生名單，將來拒絕僱用。
億萬富翁對沖基金經理Ackman在社交平臺發表的一篇帖子中呼籲哈佛公佈這些組織的成員名單，以確保不會無意中聘用他們的任何成員。該帖子已獲得超過1.1萬次轉發。
與此同時，其他多位商界領袖都支援公佈簽名學生的姓名。而且這些學生的資訊在網上被人肉。
據哈佛大學校報The Harvard Crimson報道，週三，一輛廣告卡車駛過哈佛大學校園周圍的街道，上面是數碼顯示的有關的學生姓名和照片。
在此高壓之下，截至週三下午，在最初的34個共同簽名的哈佛學生團體中，至少有8個撤回了他們在宣告中的簽名。
有哈佛本科生表示：“我們很遺憾”共同簽署該宣告的決定“被解讀為對以色列最近發生的暴力襲擊的默許支援”。
該組織的一位發言人後來在一份宣告中寫道，“PSC堅決反對針對平民的暴力行為——無論是巴勒斯坦人、以色列人還是其他國家的人。”
哈佛大學官方目前並未宣告對此事的態度。
哈佛大學是美國政界最有影響力的大學，培養了八位前總統和九位現任最高法院法官中的四位大法官。
雖然大學傳統上一直是鼓勵言論自由，但這封學生的信卻引起了政治共鳴。
