南開大學文學院趙越學者也曾介紹，ABB式詞語韻律感十足，極富音樂感的發音也更容易讓人產生共鳴、記憶，進一步傳播也就暢通無阻。

幾十年來，有大量的實證研究探索了名字對於一個人的實際影響。一篇於2021年發表在《心理科學進展》的學術文章對這些研究進行了薈萃分析，探究姓名的哪些維度會對一個人的心理和行為造成影響。

研究表明：名字特別，未來可能也不普通；名字不好，心理困擾也不少。
