This chapter is a prophecy of Tyre. Oneof the most famous cities of ancient times. Tyre was a prosperous commercialcity, a major trading center of the world at that time, with a huge seaport.Tyre was famous for its wicked and deceitful commerce with all the nations ofthe earth and its plunder from other nations. In this chapter, the suspension of the sea is used topredict the collapse of the world economy caused by the decline of the worldoverlord, the United States, who made a fortune through adultery with Babylon,corresponding to Ezekiel 27!The decline of the American economy implies thatthe country's former glory is no longer there, and that its prime years havepassed and it is heading for its final decline. [Isa23:1] The oracleconcerning Tyre : Wail, all the ships of Tarshish;For Tyre is laid waste,without house or entrance. The news came from the land of Kittim.
"The oracle of Tyre" is theprophecy about Tyre, the United States. Why is this a prediction for the UnitedStates? See Ezekjel’s description.(Eze 27:2-4) Sonof man, take up a lament concerning Tyrus. Sayto Tyre, situated at the gatewayto the sea, merchant of peoples on many coasts. This is what the Sovereign LORD says:’ You say, O Tyrus, , I am perfect in beauty. Yourdomain was on the high seas; your builders brought your beauty to perfection.’Here, Tyre is described as a prosperous commercial port and an island countrysurrounded by the sea. Its trade with other countries is very hot. God createda nation of perfect beauty and superior conditions. Clearly, the last greatpower in the world is the United States. But will its power last forever?
Wail, all the ships of Tarshish."" The ships of Tarshish," referring to large ocean-going freighters.(Ps 48:7 God, you destroyed them like ships of Tarshishshattered by an east wind.) This is the symbol of economic trade,referring to the united States-centered world economic and trade activities inthe late era is very hot, very spectacular. Because modern trade is mostlycarried by sea, huge freighters often sail on the vast sea, bustling aboutcarrying goods from all over the world, so they are called "Tarshishships". "For Tyre is desolate, and thereis no house, and there is no way of entering." "The inhabitants of the seamenwere enriched by the merchants of The Sidon," which is often compared withTyre in the Bible (Ezekiel 27:8;Matthew 11:21), which represents the westernEuropean countries."Coastal residents" refer to the trade with Europeand the United States by sea transport to reap the wealth of countries, such asChina, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, the unitedArab , Malaysia, Russia, Thailand, etc.. "Crown" means that Tyre (TheUnited States) was originally a blessed country which was the bearer of truth,developed rapidly , prominent powerful, in the world's foremost, enjoy a loftystatus. Who endowed Tyre (America) with dignity, power, wealth and splendor?The Lord has decreed this. The reason God does this is to abase the proud andto shame the arrogant. Although God has given The UnitedStates the privilege of making it a favored nation, it USES the privilege notto glorify God, but to augment its earthly power and satisfy its earthly glory(money, wealth, power) to its heart's content. When it became the overlord ofthe world, it was so proud and despotic as to make itself god, and so God wouldmake it fall from the highest to the lowest, as Satan Lucifer had fallen fromheaven. As in:[Isa 14:14-15] Satan says, "I willascend above the clouds.I will be like the most High ". But you will bebrought down to sheol, to the depths of the pit. This is the fate of all Tyrus (Lucifer, the Pope, America, Islam, etc.),which, like their ancestor Lucifer, will fall into the depths of theunderworld.
"His merchants are honourable menof the earth," and (Rev 18:23) Your merchants werehonourable men of the earth;All nations are enchanted by your sorcery)are the same expression, describing the same thing, the objects of the lastBabylonian power. "His merchants are princes; His buyers are the noblestmen in the world. "This describes the great economic power of the UnitedStates, with which the world's major banking institutions and consortiums dobusiness, as well as international trusts. It is inthis spirit and attitude that today's last revivalist church seeks the trueremnant of Christ. Those churches that follow the spirit of the False Prophetsof America are tools of Satan, whose end result is the false sheep that God hashumbled and eliminated.
