🌟 Who We’re Looking For
1. Lead Expert – Integrated Bridge Systems (IBS)
What You’ll Bring：
✔ master’s degree in computer science, GIS, maritime technology, ship and ocean engineering, traffic information engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
✔ Proven expertise in technical research, system integration, and electronic applications, particularly in IBS.
✔ Deep expertise in ship navigation, automation, communication systems, and electronic chart systems.
✔ Proven ability to lead high-level technical projects and drive innovation.
✔ Experience at leading tech firms (e.g., Tencent, Huawei, Baidu, Alibaba, Vipshop) is a plus. Senior-level talent (Alibaba P8+ or equivalent) will be prioritized.
✔ Strong strategic vision and leadership skills, with the ability to navigate global industry trends and expand international business operations.
What You’ll Do :
• Define the strategic direction for IBS development in line with global tech trends.
• Take charge of designing and optimizing next-generation Integrated Bridge Systems to improve efficiency, safety, and automation.
• Oversee key IBS R&D initiatives, including navigation, automation, radar collision avoidance, and network communication systems.
• Develop and execute project roadmaps, ensuring compliance with IMO and international industry standards.
• Build and lead an expert team, mentoring and developing future industry leaders.
2. Expert – International Hydrographic Organization (IHO)
What You’ll Bring :
✔ Bachelor’s degree in marine surveying, GIS, navigation science, geophysics, ocean engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or a related field.
✔ Expertise in IMO, IHO, and IEC regulations and industry standards.
✔ Fluency in English, with the ability to lead technical discussions, business negotiations, and product marketing at an international level.
✔ A strong reputation in hydrographic surveying or marine cartography—experience contributing to international standards is a big plus.
✔ Relevant professional certifications (e.g., IHO, FIG) and memberships in international hydrographic organizations are preferred.
What You’ll Do :
• Participate in the formulation and revision of IHO-related standards to ensure their scientific nature, practicality, and forward-looking vision.
• Plan, manage, and implement hydrographic projects in areas such as navigation technology and electronic charting.
• Lead international business negotiations and help expand COSCO Shipping Guangzhou’s global influence.
• Collaborate with international hydrographic organizations to develop joint mapping and data-sharing projects.
• Represent the company at global conferences, technical summits, and industry events.
Competitive Compensation & Benefits
🚢 Lead Expert, Integrated Bridge Systems (IBS): Annual salary no less than CNY 1,000,000.
🌎 Expert, International Hydrographic Organization (IHO): Annual salary no less than CNY 500,000.
