3月21日晚，蘇州工業園區市場監督管理局釋出情況通報：近日，有網友反映，我區某商場內楊國福麻辣燙店食品櫃出現一老鼠，獲悉後我局執法人員立即至該店開展現場檢查，當場責令商家停業，並於當日立案，將依法依規嚴肅處置。
On March 18, a customer in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, spotted a rat in the ingredient area of a Yang Guofu restaurant, a popular chain serving Malatang street food. The store responded that the rat had entered from a neighboring shop and that all affected ingredients had been removed. On the evening of March 21, the Suzhou Industrial Park Market Supervision Administration issued a notice, ordering the restaurant to shut down immediately and launching an official investigation, promising strict action in accordance with the law.

3月18日，江蘇蘇州，有網友發現楊國福麻辣燙一門店菜品區出現老鼠。
該門店回應，老鼠是從隔壁門店爬來的，目前相關菜品已經全部下架，店內每天會進行消殺，後續會加強管理。
據報道，2024年5月，有廣東中山的消費者投訴，在楊國福麻辣燙菜品區域發現活的老鼠，商家對其表示會進行整改，可以給兩瓶飲料作為補償，但要求其刪除影片。
同年5月8日，記者致電涉事門店，工作人員表示確實出現了老鼠，但過多細節不願透露。同日，中山市三角鎮政府相關負責人回應，三角鎮市場監管分局已對該涉事餐廳開展檢查，責令其立即整改，並採取“回頭看”，確保其整改落實到位。
在黑貓投訴釋出的2024年度線下餐飲機構領域紅黑榜榜單中，楊國福麻辣燙位列黑榜第一。
