回到今天的主題，在寫作中，have是一個高頻詞彙但如果整篇文章頻繁使用have，會顯得單調乏味。那麼，have有哪些花式替換？

我們先來看一篇關於工作話題的雅思作文，主題是“應該在接受培訓的國家工作，還是可以自由選擇工作國家”，其中一位學員在開頭部分是這樣寫的：
With the changing of the global world, some professionals, such as doctors and engineers, have more choices to develop their career.
修改後如下：
With the dynamic shifts in the global landscape, professionals such as doctors and engineers find themselves with a plethora of career development choices.
先看幾處小改動：
原句 "the changing of the global world" 有些冗餘，因為“global”一詞已經包含了“world”的含義，因此可以省略“world”。
將“changes”替換為“dynamic shifts”（動態變化）、“world”替換為“global landscape”（全球格局）、以及將“many”替換為“a plethora of”（大量的）。這些都是語言細節上的小升級，能夠有效提升表達的質量。
這裡將“have”替換為“find themselves with”，後者的字面意思是“發現自己擁有”，不僅傳達了“have”的含義，而且語言更為新穎。
再舉一個例子，在討論“線上教育”或“教育技術”等話題時，我們可以這樣開頭：
As technology continues to advance, students may find themselves with an increasing number of online learning opportunities that were once unavailable.
隨著科技的不斷進步，學生擁有越來越多的線上學習機會，而這些機會曾經無法獲得。
是不是感覺用find oneself with比have好很多？

再來看一篇雅思作文，主題是“孩子是否應儘早在學校接受教育，還是至少應等到7歲再入學”。在闡述儘早教育的好處時，一位學員是這樣寫的：
On the one hand, proponents contend that this practice has a couple of merits.
修改後：
On the one hand, proponents contend that the early initiation of schooling holds a couple of merits.
hold意思是to own or have sth“擁有、持有”，比如：
Employees hold 30% of the shares.
僱員持有 30% 的股份。
“Have”和“hold”都表示“擁有”的意思，但“have”更加直接和日常，而“hold”則顯得更加正式和深刻，通常用於表達事物具有某些深層次或長期的特質。
舉個例子，在“環保”話題中，我們可以這樣寫：
Some people hold the view that stricter regulations on plastic waste are essential for protecting the environment.
有些人認為，加強對塑膠垃圾的管控對保護環境至關重要。
hold the view that…可以用來闡述觀點，hold強調了這種觀點的堅定性和長期性，給句子增添了正式和學術感。

在同一篇雅思作文中，學員在闡述問題時是這樣寫的：
On the other hand, this practice has some potential problems.
修改後：
On the other hand, starting school earlier comes with potential problems.
come with意思是“隨…而來”，傳達了某個事物伴隨出現的感覺，在表示事物利弊、問題、挑戰時，可以與“have”互相替換。
再舉一個例子，在討論“遠端工作”的話題中，闡述遠端工作的問題時可以這樣說：
On the other hand, working from home comes with challenges such as distractions and lack of social interaction.
另一方面，在家辦公也存在著諸如干擾和缺乏社互動動等挑戰。
