4月3日，貴州省紀委監委通報8起違反中央八項規定精神典型問題，其中包括貴州燃氣集團畢節燃氣公司原黨支部書記、執行董事、總經理肖劍安排公務接待違規飲酒問題。
Disciplinary authorities in Guizhou province handed punishments to Xiao Jian, former Party branch secretary, executive director, and general manager of Bijie Gas Company of Guizhou Gas Group, for violating alcohol consumption regulations during an official reception.The disciplinary action underscores China's sustained campaign to enforce the eight-point rules — a set of rules introduced in 2012 to curb extravagance and improve Party and government conduct.
據通報，2024年11月21日，貴州燃氣集團畢節燃氣公司組織開展知識競賽活動。活動結束後，畢節燃氣公司在食堂接待參加活動的相關單位人員，肖劍等10人參與就餐，其中8人飲用白酒，造成嚴重後果和惡劣影響。
2025年2月，肖劍被撤銷黨內職務，受到撤職處理，從正科級降為普通員工。
On Nov 21, 2024, Bijie Gas Company organized a knowledge competition for employees. Following the event, Xiao hosted a dining reception at the company cafeteria for attendees, including representatives from partner organizations.During the meal, 8 out of 10 participants consumed baijiu, a strong Chinese liquor — a clear breach of China's strict anti-corruption rules prohibiting alcohol at official functions. Authorities described the incident as having "caused severe consequences and a damaging societal impact".In February 2025, following an investigation by disciplinary authorities, Xiao Jian was dismissed from his Party post and stripped of all managerial positions.
