POSITION DETAILS
Counseling & Wellness Services is a fast-paced, dynamic operation committed to the provision of quality clinical services, training, and education. The Student Psychological Counselor will report to the Student Counseling Director. The Student Psychological Counselor position may require up to two evenings per week.
In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, the Student Psychological Counselor will be responsible for the following duties:

Conducts comprehensive intake assessments in order to formulate appropriate treatment recommendations

Conducts initial triage assessments for students who present in immediate crisis
-
Provides short-term counseling services addressing a wide array of presenting problems and symptom presentations
-
Engages in weekly individual and group supervision of graduate level trainees from various graduate clinical programs: Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, and Psychology

Evaluates trainee counseling sessions via live supervision and review of audio/ video recordings
-
Plans, develops, and conducts outreach events and workshops addressing a wide range of topics related to mental health and emotional wellness

Consults with faculty and staff with the goal of helping to assess emergent student crises and provides guidance on how to identify and engage students in distress
-
Consults and collaborates with Students Affairs staff with the goal of helping students access and utilize the multiple services available to them through the Division of Student Affairs, as well as to plan collaborative outreach initiatives
-
Participates in the assessment of clinical services, including the analysis of specified clinical outcome measures, with the goal of promoting Quality Assurance practices and to aid in strategic planning of future CWS policies, procedures, and outreach initiatives

Participates in intern/extern application and selection process and liaises with appropriate faculty from the trainees’ academic program

Participates in weekly CWS team meetings: case conference, disposition meetings, staff meeting, and peer supervision meeting

研究助理

Part-time Research Assistant I in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref: 531644) (to commence as soon as possible for six months, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Psychology, mental health or related disciplines. They should be competent in quantitative analysis and experienced in using statistical software. They should also have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese); a strong sense of responsibility; good organizational and interpersonal skill; ability to work independently and as a team, and to collaborate with external parties.
The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in designing and implementing research projects on mental health and inequality, and be responsible for data analysis, preparation of presentations, drafting proposal and reports, and performing any other duties as assigned. Preference will be given to those with experience in grant application and academic report. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.

上海交大心理諮詢中心成立於1985年9月,是國內最早成立的專業心理諮詢機構,現有專職諮詢師9名,包含中國心理學會臨床心理學註冊督導師2名;中國心理學會臨床心理學會/中國心理衛生協會註冊心理師6名。中心曾多次榮獲全國心理健康教育先進集體等榮譽稱號,一直承接教育部思政司、上海市教委委託的重大心理健康工作專案。現因工作需要,擬招募實習生若干名。
實習期間:2025年4月中旬-2026年7月初(夏季學期結束)
實習地點:上海交通大學閔行校區(東川路800號)

The Sensory, Cognitive, and Affective Neurodevelopment (SCAN) lab at UCLA is seeking a study coordinator (Staff Research Associate; SRA) to work on multiple studies of infants, children, adolescents, and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders (PI: Dr. Shulamite Green). The SRA in this position will work across multiple MRI and psychophysiological studies focused on sensory processing across the autism spectrum. We are seeking independent, highly motivated candidates to coordinate participant screening, recruitment, data collection (including acquisition of MRI data as well as behavioral and psychophysiological data), and data management. The SRA will also assist with preparing IRB correspondence, grants and publications, as well as training and supervising undergraduate research assistants. Prior background in psychology/neuroscience is required; experience with neuroimaging methods, particularly fMRI, and physiological methods such as heart rate and skin conductance acquisition and analysis is preferred. Experience working with children with neurodevelopmental conditions or developmental disabilities is also preferred. A minimum 2-year commitment is required and candidates who can start by or before June 2025 will receive priority consideration.

Research Specialist Position at the Princeton Social Neuroscience Lab
The Princeton Social Neuroscience Lab seeks a full-time research specialist to begin Summer/Fall 2025. The lab uses functional neuroimaging, behavioral techniques, and machine learning to study conversation, social cognition, and spontaneous thought.
The successful candidate will assist with all aspects of research, including (1) developing materials and programming experiments, (2) recruiting and testing human subjects, (3) analyzing behavioral, web scraped, and fMRI data, and (4) miscellaneous research support (e.g., literature searches, IRB management, manuscript and grant preparation, general lab duties).
Essential qualifications:
– Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Math, or related fields
