The technology company Astronomer said its CEO, Andy Byron, has resigned after he was shown embracing a woman on a screen during a Coldplay concert.
Astronomer's board of directors accepted the resignation Saturday, saying it will begin a search for a replacement.
"Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met," the New York company said in a statement on Saturday.

During the event, the venue's Jumbotron swept the audience and picked out a canoodling couple. Instead of smiling or engaging with the camera, the pair reacted with visible discomfort: the woman turned away and covered her face with her hands, while the man ducked down out of view.

It didn't take long for social media users to identify the couple. The man was identified as Andy Byron, the married chief executive of Astronomer, a US-based software development company, and the woman was identified as Kristin Cabot, its head of human resources. According to publicly available information, Byron is married with children, while Cabot recently finalised a divorce.

當地時間18日，Astronomer公司在X上釋出宣告，確認已對拜倫停職，同時任命臨時執行長。宣告稱，董事會已對此事啟動正式調查，並將於近日公佈更多調查進展。

On Friday (local time), Astronomer confirmed in a statement posted on X that CEO Andy Byron had been placed on leave and that the company's board had launched a formal investigation. An interim CEO has been appointed.
