Preschool-Kindergarten 幼兒園小班到大班

Duration 課時: 15 Classes/ 1hour 15節課/1小時

Period 上課時間: Saturdays 每週六

Preschool 小班 9:00-10:00

Pre-Kindergarten 中班 10:15-11:15

Taught by HQIS's experienced foreign teachers, this course utilizes the Oxford Phonics system to build a solid foundation in English reading. The curriculum covers:

Led by HQIS Primary Homeroom teachers, this hands-on course engages students in individual projects combining Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Through age-appropriate challenges like building simple machines and creating circuit art, students develop creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork skills while having fun.

TED Public Speaking

TED公眾演講

Student Age 學生年級: G5-9

Duration 課時: 10+1 Classes（*Presentation session included）10+1節課（含展示環節）

The course, led by Mr. Jonathan Jackson — HOlS Lower School Principal & TEDxHQlS Youth Organizer— adopts the TED Talk format to cultivate students' public speaking skills, logical structuring, and confident self-expression.

HQIS幼小部校長 & TEDxHQIS Youth發起人 Jonathan Jackson先生授課，模擬TED演講流程，訓練學生組織語言與公眾表達，自信展現自我。

• Speech Structure: Master classic TED-style openings, body content, and closing techniques• Body Language: Develop non-verbal skills including eye contact and purposeful gestures• Vocal Control: Train in tone variation, strategic pausing, and vocal emphasis
