絕經前女性攝入大豆異黃酮降低乳腺癌發生風險的特定建議值(SPL)是 每天55mg (相當於大概200g煮熟的豆腐)。 -
已絕經女性攝入大豆異黃酮降低乳腺癌發生風險、改善圍絕經期綜合徵和絕經後骨質疏鬆症的特定建議值(SPL)是 每天75mg (相當於大概250g煮熟的豆腐)。 -
已經絕經女性攝入大豆異黃酮每天最高不超過120mg。



此外大豆異黃酮還有抗氧化的效果,可以抑制活性氧自由基和過氧化氫生成、減少DNA氧化損傷、抑制脂質過氧化。研究發現補充大豆異黃酮6個月後可減少健康女性的DNA氧化損傷水平。
