Elon Musk expressed his backing for US President Donald Trump following the signing of an executive order aimed at dismantling the US Department of Education and "return authority" to states and local communities — but not without committing a significant error.

Musk used a well-known meme format depicting a person kneeling before a tombstone. He superimposed Trump's face onto the figure in the image and branded the tombstone with the Department of Education emblem. But beneath the emblem, he mistakenly wrote: "Departmen of Education", omitting the final "T" from "department".

對此，有網友在該貼文下調侃稱：“在有關教育部的表情包裡出現拼寫錯誤？”
還有網友認為，成功的國家尊重並重視教育工作者，而美國卻嘲笑他們。
不過也有網友稱，“這是故意的，有時候體會幽默感很難。”

據《華爾街日報》報道，為縮減聯邦機構規模，特朗普政府正考慮透過行政手段解散美國教育部。特朗普20日還在白宮發表講話說，除核心的必要功能，政府將“採取一切合法手段關閉教育部”，並將“儘快關閉它”。
